NW Heights Midcentury Kitchen Redo Kitchen and Breakfast Nook Remodel

As you will see from the BEFORE photos, this kitchen was a design challenge.

A chimney was running right through the island and to camouflage it, it had been wrapped in wood paneling. We had the paneling removed and replaced it with flat brick-looking tile so it looks like what it is…a chimney.

The bar seating was in a narrow walkway so we moved it to an exterior wall and created an indoor/outdoor bar seating area separated by an accordion window.

The breakfast nook was too small so we pushed it towards the window and created a banquette.

We’re so happy our clients went for it all and took a risk on some interesting materials and colors and bucked the trend of an all-white kitchen.
