I’m so grateful that these particular clients bought this house. They had impeccably high standards and wanted a functional, modern kitchen that suited their 1964 home. The existing (extremely dated) kitchen was completely closed off from the rest of the house and the dining room was tiny, but I instantly saw potential. We needed to open up the walls for starters, but we also needed to steal some space from the adjacent garage in order to have a dining room worthy of large family gatherings.
