I recently hired Kami to help me put together my bedroom and to hang art throughout my home. She was the best! What I loved most was that she listened to what I wanted and allowed me to be the one to make choices, while she made sure it all worked together. She was great at finding things throughout my home and re-purposing them to make them sparkle!

My favorite pastime is watching HGTV, perusing home decorating magazines and scouring online websites dreaming of a day that I can tackle a large home project. Well, that day came and it was much harder than I originally thought. We purchased a 25 year-old home and needed to outfit a living room and dining room combo. I visited every furniture store in the area and just couldn’t see the vision for the room. I wanted to make sure that our room was unique but timeless at the same time.
In walks Kami Gray…I saw her website and really liked her portfolio. Sent her and email and she responded to my inquiry quickly. We set up a time to meet and look at my space and the rest is history. Her pricing is very reasonable and probably saved me money in the long run by not purchasing the wrong items. We met a couple times in person to shop but we mostly communicated by email and phone. Kami is very responsive and so easy to talk to.
She created a room that exceeded my expectations. She just has a knack for putting things together. Every time I walk in the room I feel like I’m in one of those home magazines. Pinch me, I think I’ve gone to home decor heaven. Thanks Kami!!

Kami designed our basement, living room/dining room on a shoestring budget and it looks amazing! She came up with tons of options for me to choose from and was fast! She couldn’t have made it easier. She also designed our entire house on the coast and it was a huge project which she tackled seamlessly. The end result is beautiful and I couldn’t be happier. While she doesn’t specialize in budget decor, she really stuck to the budget and came up with creative, cost-saving ideas which were beautiful. She is fast and knows her stuff. On July 14th, 2015 I became a homeowner. I’ve got to start with that as it’s a hurdle I never anticipated being able to leap. It is something I have always dreamed about, but in that la-la land fairy tale way. So imagine my surprise at my complete and total designers block once I was in my house. I’m finally living my dream, yet I can’t figure out what to do with it. I couldn’t get my dining room to flow into my kitchen, my basement remodel left that space completely disjointed from the 1941 elements I loved about the main floor… and I have a thing for galvanized piping.
I came to the realization that I do not have the know how, or bandwidth, to search out design solutions and implement them. I needed someone to propose solutions, manage the purchasing and deliveries, then to install in entirety. Enter, Kami. Introduced to me by my realtor, she came highly recommended for her sense of design, creativity, and — if you meet her, you’ll get this — fantastically quirky attitude.
We walked through my house together — top to bottom, then bottom to top — discussing things I liked, loved, and those I disliked. Kami asked how I used the spaces. She asked how my daughter used the spaces. Then she asked how we used the spaces together. From here we took off on the adventure of redesigning my entryway, dining room, kitchen lighting, kitchen nook, and basement bathroom.
There was a lot of communication. At minimum, daily updates on ideas or timelines. Budget was reviewed each time a new piece was considered, added, or removed. On install day Kami and her crew arrived alongside my deliveries toting power tools galore, garbage bags, lots of coffee, and got to work. About six hours later Kami took me for a walk through, similar to the one we originally did — top to bottom, then bottom to top. It’s an amazing feeling to experience my house turning into my home.
I cannot recommend Kami more highly, she made my la-la land fairy tale a reality.

Kami was amazing to work with. She really listened to my needs and the end product is fantastic. I love her process and her ability to mix and match materials, colors, and textures for a result that we all love. She is easy to work with and is a great communicator. I have already given her name to others and I look forward to my next design project.
